MAKE YOURSELVES AT HOME

Your central Paris Bed and Breakfast for 2 is a smart, comfortable space shared with me, in which you are encouraged straight away to ‘make yourselves at home’.  Do click on the video to find out what 2 first-time visitors to Paris thought of their stay at 52 Clichy.

The B&B is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, my part is separated from yours and we share the large living space.   It’s here we can share a bottle of wine in the evening and chat about your adventures and it’s also here, each morning, that we will share a delicious breakfast, on the balcony or at the dining table, prepared for you at whatever time you want – 5am if your departure flight is early or late if jet-lag hits…!

Your bedroom: The super-kingsize bed is super-comfortable as the 10cm/4″ deep mattress topper is made of goose down.  Reviews confirm that people don’t want to get out!  When twin beds are needed the beds are pushed against each wall which offers more space in which to move around. There are lots of shelves and wardrobe hanging space if you want to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase and the ensuite bathroom includes a full bath with shower over it and your private toilet is opposite.

Your private space is comfortable but it is not often where you’ll spend your time, the advantage of the B&B is that everything you see in the photos is yours to use and enjoy, the luxury of a whole apartment with the added advantage of a private concierge / tour planner as your host!

Breakfast : Each morning it will be different, you’ll be served a plate of fruits and always 5 different choices of freshly baked bread and pastries from the amazing bakery we are lucky to have not more than 20 metres from our door, Maison Landemaine. There’ll also be homemade yogurts and homemade jams and honey. The coffee will arrive in a French press,  your chosen tea in my amazing teapot and hot chocolate and organic fruit juices.  All manner of dietary requirements can also be catered for including a coeliac, gluten-free or vegan breakfast if I have a little warning.

Breakfast is also when we can chat about your plans for the day, if you need suggestions on how best to fit everything in, a great restaurant for when you emerge starving from a museum, a walking itinerary, the best way to get to the Eiffel Tower or a day trip out of Paris, or perhaps just chatting about how it is to live in our 6 storey apartment blocks, shop locally, deal with our neighbours and swap experiences.

The only downside for you might be that it’s not possible to eat an evening meal at the B&B, no takeaway food and no cooking in my kitchen but that’s why I’ve a very helpful list of fabulous local restaurants and cafés.

If you’re not quite sure about what you want, take a look at my gorgeous apartment on floor below, ideal for a couple wanting lots of space, families even with small children or a baby as I have a fold-up cot or for up to 4 friends sharing. It’s wheelchair – friendly and it has a full kitchen for creating those evening meals when you’re tired out or have special dietary requirements and you don’t miss out on breakfast as breakfast ‘room service’ will be delivered to your door 🙂

Rates

The easiest way to calculate the pricing is to click on the purple button “Check Availability & Book Now” The pricing is calculated automatically when you type in your dates.  

The pricing is for 1 or 2 people including my fabulous breakfast.  €150 per night. Hotel tourist taxes are €2.60 per person per night. There are NO hidden charges or fees for cleaning etc.

A Non-Refundable deposit payment of €300 is required to confirm your booking.  Final payment will be due 60 days before arrival. PLEASE read the cancellation section below before booking.

Policies

Check-in

As long as I have your travel details, please come straight from the airport / train station, leave your bags, take a key and start your day.

Check-out

Please vacate by 10 am, however, if we have agreed in advance, it’s always possible to keep your key and leave your bags in the apartment if your departure is later in the day.

Payment methods

Using my website reservations are made with a deposit payment by credit card.

However:

• If you have a Euro or Sterling bank account please request my bank details in order to send a wire transfer as there are no transaction costs for wire transfers.
• WISE : for those frequent travellers, this seems to be by far the fastest, cheapest way to transfer money between currencies, way cheaper than banks, credit cards or Paypal, I use it all the time. • I do not accept cash.

Cancellation

52 Clichy is my primary source of income so please purchase comprehensive travel insurance and please don’t book until you’re sure of your dates. A non refundable deposit payment confirms your booking.

Bookings that are cancelled within 60 days of arrival forfeit the deposit and the final rental payments. However, every effort will be made to replace your booking if a date modification or cancellation is required. If successful, your rental and deposit payment will be part / fully refunded minus €100 admin fee.

Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

Pets

No Pets.

Smoking / Candles etc

Smoking is not allowed except on the balcony. Candles, incense etc are also not allowed.

Groups

If you are more than 2 people please consider the Apartment, and for more than 4 people consider booking both properties.
